What’s more fun than a barrel of monkeys?

If you guessed “a pile of board games” you’d be right! And what’s more fun than a pile of board games?

Why, a pile of board games we’re giving away for free! That’s fun for everyone!

Okay, enough of my nonsense. In celebration of our Game of the Year awards, we’re giving away copies of:

  • Roll for the Galaxy
  • XCOM
  • Fury of Dracula
  • Mysterium
  • Steampunk Rally

Yes, that’s right, all of those games. Special thanks to Fantasy Flight/Asmodee for providing Fury of Dracula and Mysterium, and to Roxley Games for Steampunk Rally. Best of luck to ya!

This contest ends February 12 at 11:59pm.

*Unfortunately, we are only able to ship prizes to a US or Canadian address at this time.

  1. My favorite game of the year has to be Pandemic Legacy. My girlfriend and I are still trying to save the world, but the experience that the two of us are getting out of this game is one of (if not the) greatest we’ve ever had. High props to Matt Leacock and Rob Daviau, they knocked it out of the park.

  2. Not sure if I used the raffle page correctly but I am thrilled to try both XCOM and Three Kingdoms Redux! Thank you so much for the giveaway, even if I’ve been playing X-Wing all year 😀

  3. Colt Express, Mysterium, & T.I.M.E. Stories were my favorites. They each scratch different gaming needs, but Colt Express got the most play time for us last year.

  4. My favorite from 2015 is Baseball Highlights 2045…it’s a contender for my favorite game of all time. Mike Fitzgerald really outdid himself with that one.

  5. I’ve gotten to play Roll For The Galaxy once, got me interested in Race for the Galaxy and I don’t regret it one bit.

  6. Forbidden Stars. And Super Motherload. And Roll for the Galaxy. Too many good ones to pick! Hopefully Mysterium will make the list after I (hopefully) win the drawing!

  7. I didn’t play a ton of new games last year. Of the ones I did, I think Harbour gets the nod based on number of plays. Fuse comes in second, but I’ve played it only a few times.

  8. Favorite new game of the year was actually Exploding Kittens. Pretty lightweight but it’s really the only thing that people wanted to play.

  9. T.I.M.E. Stories is the one that stood out for me. There were a lot of great games, but that was a new experience that some of my non-gaming friends really go into.

  10. My favorite game of 2015 was Blood Rage, although Champions of Midgard was a close second. The year of the vikings, I guess!! 🙂

  11. So many great games, but Roll for the Galaxy and Codenames are at the top of my list. It’s hard to choose between two very different games!

  12. I think that alchemists was my favorite game from 2015, but that might be because I haven’t opened pandemic legacy yet.

  13. I’m not sure which was my favorite, but Viticulture: Essential Edition was way up there, as well as Far Space Foundry.

  14. Favorite Game was Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Skulls and Shackles (not released in 2015, but the favorite I played then!).

  15. Tiny epic galaxies! (Which originally autocorrected to’ tiny epic haggis’, maybe an idea for the next game in the series).

    • But I already have a copy, so if I win, I’d like Roll for the Galaxy. I’m not sure if I did the raffle right, though.

  16. Of these games, I gotta say XCOM was my favorite in 2015. That being said, of every game released, Rum and Bones, Pandemic Legacy, and 7 Wonders Duel were the best for me!

  17. My favorite of the year has been Pandemic Legacy. Still many that I need to play including those in this giveaway. 😀

  18. My game of the year could have possibly been XCOM, other than the fact that I can’t play it using my 6 Plus now… So, sorry FFG, but my vote goes to Blood Rage.

  19. I’ve been using your flowchart, it keeps telling me to play Roll for the Galaxy. And its been spot on every time.

  20. I’ve not gotten to start my copy of Pandemic Legacy yet or I might be saying that. Can I say the reprint of Mission Red Planet? That’s great.

  21. Roll for the Galaxy is a great game. Our friends have it and I’m already thinking about picking up a copy for us. Despite them being the only people we game with.

  22. We tend to be a year behind in most of our game purchases, because we wait to see lots of reviews before buying. So I’m not sure which of our games came out in 2015… 7 Wonders Duel, I think? We definitely enjoyed that one.

  23. T.I.M.E Stories was my favorite of the year, with Pandemic Legacy a close second. All of the games in this giveaway are on my list to get, so i hope i win! Thanks for such a great contest!

  24. My favorite game this year is Baseball Highlights 2045. Haven’t tried any of the games on the list but sure hope I win so that all changes!

  25. Mysterium is great! (I already have that one, so I hope I win one of the others?) But my favorite of last year HAS to be Pandemic Legacy!!

  26. My favorite game of 2015 is actually Pandemic (with some Forbidden Island as a #2) – my wife and I seldom get the brand newest games, so it’s what we discovered in a given year.

  27. Christopher Conlin

My favorite new acquisition of 2015 was Android Netrunner. My most played new acquisition of 2015 was Fairy Tale! The most fun I’ve had playing a game so far in 2016 has been Dancing Eggs: my 5-year old son laughed so hard he peed his pants. I love games.

  28. My favorite game of 2015 was King of Tokyo. Though it was published in 2011, my group just recently started playing it, and it is a really fun game!

  29. Pingback: Game Bandit | Purple Pawn

  30. My favourite game of 2015/16 may be The Gallerist… or Food Chain Magnate… or maybe Nippon. Tough call. I really need to win a copy of Three Kingdoms Redux to make sure it isn’t better than them all!

  31. I have three in different categories… for longevity, I’d vote for The voyages of Marco Polo, for experience pandemic legacy and for ease to introduce people new to modern board games Codenames.

    • I guess I should have said *”of the games released in 2015 that I’ve played ”

Mysterium would be my pick of the year of games I have yet to play that I’m most excited about potentially winning.

  32. I’m not sure I have an actual favorite, but I am really fond of Codenames, not because I love it so much, but I love that it’s getting so many more people to want to play games in the groups that I frequent.

  33. My favorite game of 2015 is Codenames.
My favorite game ever is Fantasy Flights X-Wing . Cannot wait for Ghost to come out!

  34. Favorite game of 2015 is T.I.M.E. Stories. Had two of the most fun gaming sessions i’ve ever had playing the two scenarios of this game…can’t wait for the next ones…

  35. Favorite game of 2015 is probably Roll for the Galaxy, and I say that as a guy who haaaates Race for the Galaxy.

  36. I have a hard time picking between Roll, Isle of Skye, Between Two Cities, and Gold West. I’d probably settle on Roll just because there’s so much to it without being unmanageable.
