Sometimes I overlook how fortunate I am having not one but two weekly gaming groups that offer games, comradery, and good times. We play lots games, both new and old, but what I appreciate the most are the friendships I’ve made. I was reminded of this over the last few weeks at the get-togethers I’ve had with my gaming buddies. I hope you’ve experienced this with your gaming groups as well.

Figure Madness
New expansions for the Mansions of Madness Second Edition will be available this fall. According to Fantasy Flight Games, “The Recurring Nightmares Figure and Tile Collection contains all the monster miniatures, investigator figures, and map tiles from the Mansions of Madness First Edition core game, and Suppressed Memories contains those from the Call of the Wild and Forbidden Alchemy expansions.” However, first edition owners will be able to use their “existing pieces to play the new scenarios.”

Diana Jones Winner
Eric M. Lang won the 2016 Diana Jones Award for Excellence in Gaming. “To say that Eric Lang is a prolific game designer is the punchline of a joke hilarious in its understatement. This year’s Gen Con, for example, sees the release of no fewer than four new Lang designs or co-designs: Bloodborne: The Card Game, The Others: 7 Sins, Arcane Academy (with Kevin Wilson), and HMS Dolores (with Bruno Faidutti).”
