Dolores
Bruno Faidutti talks about working with Eric Lang to create Dolores, a game based on the prisoner’s dilemma: “Two suspects of a crime have been arrested by the police, but the policemen lack sufficient evidence to convict them. The police questions them in two different rooms, and they are both offered the same deal: ‘if you betray your accomplice and he doesn’t betray you, you’ll be freed and he’ll spent 10 years in jail. If you betray him and he betrays you, you’ll both be jailed for 5 years. If you both remain silent, you’ll both be jailed for only 6 months.’”
