Pandemic Legacy: Season 2
Z-Man Games previewed the upcoming Pandemic Legacy: Season 2. “Only nine cities are on your grid at the beginning of the game, but the tantalizing possibilities of what lies beyond are on full display. Once you have established the appropriate infrastructure in select cities across the map, you can begin to explore some of the lost world.”

Professor Evil Goes to Europe
White Goblin Games is teaming up with Funforge to bring Professor Evil and the Citadel of Time to the Netherlands and Belgium. According to the press release, it’s a cooperative game where you “team up with your fellow adventurers to sneak into the mansion and recover the treasures! Plan carefully and use your unique skills to unlock doors. Deactivate the traps, distract the Professor and stay out of his way. You’ll have to work together if you want to beat him.”

Specter Ops: Broken Covenant
Plaid Hat Games previewed Specter Ops: Broken Covenant, a sequel to Specter Ops. The game will feature “a lone A.R.K. agent [who]must attempt to infiltrate a scientific facility hidden away deep within the jungles of South America and long abandoned by Raxxon. With the help of advanced equipment supplied by A.R.K., as well as their own unique ability, they must retrieve three mission targets and escape.”

First Digital Journey
Days of Wonder’s Ticket to Ride: First Journey is now available on Android, iOS, Mac, and PC. In this family-friendly version of Ticket to Ride players will be able to “[c]ollect train cards, claim routes on the map and do your best to connect the cities shown on the tickets.”

Raiding the North Sea
Dice Tower News reports that Renegade Games is releasing two expansions to Raiders of the North Sea by the end of this year: Hall of Heroes and Fields of Fame. “Hall of Heroes adds more ways to get resources as well as quests which can be completed to facilitate other point-scoring goals. Fields of Fame adds a fame track to the game which rewards players for particularly strong crews as well as enemy Jarls mixed into the foreign settlements which when raided forces players to choose to defeat them for points or flee in shame.”

Twilight Strategy
Fantasy Flight Games previewed the Twilight Imperium Fourth Edition’s strategy cards. “[O]n your turn, instead of taking a tactical action, you may choose to take a strategic action and activate the primary ability of your strategy card. Whenever one of these primary abilities is activated, every other player gets an opportunity to use the role’s secondary ability, shaking up the game every time they are used.”

Art of Lisboa
Over on BGG, artist Ian O’Toole wrote about the process of designing the art of Lisboa. “For me, there was never a question as to where the visual direction of the game should go. The unique style of Portugal’s Azulejos painted tiles leapt out at me immediately. I knew straight away that we weren’t going to find anything that was more distinctive or authentic to the theme.”
