Disney and Marvel Codenames
W. Eric Martin also reports that Disney and Marvel versions of Codenames will be available in the last quarter of this year. “Codenames Disney Family Edition, which will include characters and locations from a variety of Disney and Pixar films, and Codenames Marvel Edition, which will feature Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and characters from Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and other Marvel Comics properties.”

Hatsune Miku
According to Dice Tower News, Ultra PRO Entertainment will publish a board game based on the popular Japanese vocaloid star Hatsune Miku.

Steve Jackson Games in June
Also from Dice Tower News comes new of two new Steve Jackson Games titles due this June. Munchkin Pathfinder expansion Guns and Razzes adds a new faction and the Gunslinger class, while Ghosts Love Candy is a “card game in which players use teams of ghosts to possess trick-or-treaters on Halloween night and eat all of their candy.”

The Expanse
WizKids announced a board game based on the TV show The Expanse. According to tabletopgamingnews.com, the game “can be played with two to four players and focuses on politics, conquest and intrigue similar to the board game Twilight Struggle, although with a shorter play time.”

Thimble No More
Bye bye, thimble. The Monopoly token will no longer be part of the game after a public vote garnered over 4 million votes. According to cnet.com, “The thimble originally joined the game way back in 1935. This isn’t the first time a classic token has been shown the door. In 2013, Hasbro dropped the iron from the lineup and replaced it with a cute cat.”
