Tomorrow is March 4th, which is known to word geeks everywhere as National Grammar Day. I’ll be extra careful with my verb tenses, pronouns, and antecedents tomorrow, and I’ll probably play a few word-related games (Codenames and Word on the Street being two recent favorites). I know, I know; wild times at the Gaviola household.

Grizzled Expansion
Cool Mini Or Not announced it will be publishing The Grizzled: At Your Orders!, an expansion to the cooperative The Grizzled. Look for it later this year.

Mystic June
AEG’s Mystic Vale, a game that has players as druidic clans trying to cleanse a curse from the land, will be ready this June. Take a look at its interesting “card crafting system.”

Digital Struggle
Twilight Struggle will be debuting on the PC/Mac this month, with an iPad version out in April.

Unbroken Glass
After some re-tooling caused its delay, Uwe Rosenberg’s Glass Road app for iOS and Android is now available.

No Pizza Here
Cowabunga! Here’s a preview of Donatello from the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HeroClix.

Toy Fair 2016
An overview of the board games featured at Toy Fair 2016.

Trading Wood for Wood
This was impressive: Woodworker makes Settlers of Catan game from a single 2×4.

Board with Life
I haven’t watched the web series Board with Life yet, but it seems like a board gaming version of The League (but correct me if I’m wrong). The first episode of season two recently debuted on youtube.

Super-Sized Games
I believe more public spaces should feature oversized games, which is what’s happening in Spokane, Washington. I’m guessing there won’t be a super-sized Twilight Imperium taking up city blocks any time soon, though.

Meeples on the X-Box
As part of its backward compatibility releases, X-Box One’s Carcassonne is now available.
