Mayfair is gonna be busy this year
The perennial heavyweight has another full slate ahead with a pile of new titles, reprints and expansions.
A little farther down the line
Bezier Games’s Whistle Stop will release at GenCon 2017. The pick-up and deliver and stock train game set in the Old West is by Scott Caputo.
Destiny awakens – will you completionist gene, too?!
Fantasy Flight Games announces one final print run of the Awakenings set to their wildly successful Star Wars: Destiny. The initial run sold out due to its popularity “outstripping expectations.” Guess they need to get those dice-making machines cranking! To dungeon crawl or not to dungeon crawl
If that’s your question, Steve Jackson Games’ Munchkin Shakespeare will hit store shelves in September. After backers receive theirs, of course…
Cards for preschoolers
The U.S. Playing Card Company is releasing three small card games this July aimed at preschool children. The trio concentrate on sequencing, counting and simple math. Terra Mystica Electronica
According to their Facebook page, Digidiced will be releasing the digital app in just a couple of weeks. The company has already ported popular games Patchwork, Agricola and Le Havre: The Inland Port. It’s time to venture away from Rosenberg, apparently!
The first of a series of discussions by Dr. Wictz and Paul Owens on the book Games of Strategy (3rd ed., 2009), a work that examines how game theory can explain observed behavior, predict rational choice and prescribe decisions.
