Although the baseball season is over, that hasn’t stopped me from thoroughly enjoying Baseball Highlights: 2045. Yesterday I avenged my previous loss with a thrilling seven-game World Series victory. Yes, even more exciting than the premiere of Rogue One.

Unlock!
Asmodee announced Unlock!, a series of cooperative card-based escape adventures, for release during the second quarter of 2017. “Each Unlock! game consists of sixty cards depicting objects, maps, and puzzles that can be activated, solved, or combined in an effort to access other cards and areas. Up to six players work cooperatively to solve each of the riddles and get through the deck within sixty minutes.”

Flag Dash
According to Dice Tower News, Ultra PRO has licensed Flag Dash from PieceKeeper Games and “They intend to release the game with some minor game and component improvements in March of 2017.” Other game improvements and expansions may be developed in the future.

Mayfair Games
Three new releases from Mayfair Games will be out later this month and in January, reports ICv2.com: Portal of Heroes, Saboteur: The Duel, and Agricola 5-6 Player Extension. “Portal of Heroes is a set collecting and trading card game. Players are would-be heroes, trying to save the land of Molthar from Darkness. … Saboteur: The Duel is a two-player version of Frederic Moyersoen’s Saboteur. … The Agricola 5 – 6 Player Extension expands Uwe Rosenberg’s classic game to include two more players. There are extra components, and new cards for the game which are tailored to the expanded player count.”

Undead Dragon Dice
From purplepawn.com comes news of a re-release of “the Undead army for Dragon Dice in 2017. While the dice will be the same the packaging is getting a Facelift to fit with their other new releases.”

Comancheria
The ACD Distribution blog announced the release of Comanchería – The Rise and Fall of the Comanche Empire. The solitaire game “tells the story of the First Nations people of North America. … in which the player plays the role of the Numunuu, the Comanche people.”

2000 AD
Warlord Games has picked up the license to create miniatures and games based on stories and comics from the British science-fiction magazine 2000 AD, according to tabletopgamingnews.com. The weekly magazine has been published for over 40 years and features comics such as Judge Dredd. “Warlord had been distributing for the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game from Mongoose, but now they will be in charge of it directly.”
