Harry Potter: Death Eaters Rising
The Op (USAopoly) announced its latest Harry Potter-themed game, Death Eaters Rising. Much like its Avengers dice-based cooperative game, Death Eaters Rising will challenge players to work together “to fight against the growing threat of the Dark Lord. Starting with either Harry Potter or Hermione Granger representing Dumbledore’s Army, Minerva McGonagall or Albus Dumbledore™ from Hogwarts, or Nymphadora Tonks or Sirius Black from the Order of the Phoenix, players will be able to rally a variety of year-5 characters to their cause.”

The Walking Dead: Call to Arms
From ICv2.com comes news that Mantic Games is releasing The Walking Dead: Call to Arms, a miniatures game based on the comic book series, next month. “Call to Arms uses the same core dice mechanic as the earlier All Out War, but introduces a number of new gameplay elements to reflect the shift in focus. In Call to Arms, the survivors are assumed to have learned ways to deal with the walking dead, so they play a reduced role in the game unless the survivors attract a ‘herd’ of undead.”

History of AEG
AEG’s John Zinser continued his blog series, this time recalling the early days of the company: “[W]e had a GAMA tradeshow to attend in Atlantic City. Cash poor, absolutely no trade show experience, no booth. Dave Seay, Ryan and I flew to the East Coast with a box of freshly printed Shadowlands flyers and a few boxes of demo decks.”
