You were promised swordcrafting, and that’s exactly what you get. Players take turns “slicing” tiles into groups, as long as there are at least 2 tiles in each remaining group. Then each player gets to snag a group of tiles and add it to their sword.
Earn points by building the longest sword, by chaining the gems on each tile into strings of the same color, and by having certain combinations of gems on your sword in no particular arrangement (the colors that score being determined by a random cards at the beginning of the game).
And yes, you do get a 3D sword crafted by the end of the game, complete from hilt to tip. Then you can wave it around, bash your friends, and move on to the next game. It’s a pretty simple framework; the real draw here is having a sword. Swords are cool!
