My regular gaming group had Star Wars: Rebellion and Carcassonne: Star Wars on the tabletop this week. Then this dropped. Definitely a great week for yours truly.

Asmodee’s Captain Sonar, a game of dueling submarines in the year 2048, will be out in the third quarter of this year.

No More Free Riders
Privateer Press has adopted policies that will provide more support to brick-and-mortar stores while limiting discounts by online retailers known as “free riders.”

Z-Man Games tweeted that Merchants & Marauders: Broadsides will debut at Gen Con.

Kalmbach Publishing Co. has acquired Rather Dashing Games, publisher of Dwarven Miner, Graveyards Ghosts & Haunted Houses, and Pirates Ninjas Robots & Zombies.

Pathfinder App
The Pathfinder app release has been pushed back to the end of this month. One of the beta testers offered insights into its pricing structure.

Next Great Game
Hasbro has partnered with Indiegogo to host an open competition for the Spring 2016 Next Great Game Challenge.

51st State: Master Set
Pre-orders are available for Portal Games’ 51st State: Master Set.

Improved Glass
An update to the Glass Road app is now available and it addresses several issues with the previous versions of Uwe Rosenberg’s game.

Insane Clown Posse and Psychopathic Games have created Into the Echoside, a deckbuilding game that debut this summer.

Mobile Device Zombies
The Zombicide companion app is now available for iOS and Android. According to Cool Mini Or Not, it is a “digital replacement for the Survivor dashboard used in the game to keep track of each character’s equipment inventory, experience and skills [and]…a virtual deck of equipment cards, action manager and virtual dice.” It also includes the Season 3: Rue Morgue content.
