In case you missed it, we announced our Game of the Year and we also announced we’re giving away a few games. Enter now!

Incoming Party
Renegade Game Studios has entered into a partnership with Italian publisher Post Scriptum to bring Brick Party to North America. The “funny and frenzied” building game is due out this summer.

Shards of Everdark
A new Hero and Monster Collection for Descent: Journeys in the Dark is expected during the second quarter of this year. Shards of Everdark features 13 figures, led by the fury of One Fist.

Doctor in the House
A look at Asmodee’s real-time cooperative game Doctor Panic, currently in development.

Educational Games
GeoToys’ first product under its Encylopaedia Britannica brand will be the revamped Around the World game.

Redemption and Return
The sixth Force Pack of the Endor cycle for the Star Wars: The Card Game is now available from Fantasy Flight Games.

Imagine Dragons
Tsuro is now available for iOS devices, with an Android version out later this month.

Forbidden Preview
Here’s a short video preview of the Forbidden Desert app being released for iOS on February 11.

Backwards Rule Books
Interesting take on poorly written rule books and how they could be fixed.

Balancing Act
Good read on the different types of mechanics used in maintaining balance in a game.

Blinged Out Board Games
Here are a few classic board games made from jewels and precious metals. The Monopoly set alone is valued at $2 million, so I won’t be clicking on Buy It Now any time soon.

Yahoo Games No More
The long-running Yahoo Games website is shutting down, amidst the company’s recent layoffs and downsizing. Although I hadn’t played on Yahoo in years, I’ll always have fond memories of learning to play backgammon there.
