Sonar at Target
Asmodee will release a family-friendly version of Captain Sonar this Fall, reports Dice Tower News. Sonar will be sold exclusively at Target and “your crew size is cut down to 2, meaning a full game only needs a much more manageable 4 people to fill every spot. Half of the roles and a lot of extras steps have been removed and you just have two positions, the captain and the radio operator.”

Recharging Charterstone
The highly anticipated Charterstone from Stonemaier Games will still be playable after you’ve finished the 12-game campaign. According to the Stonemaier blog, a half-price recharge pack “would refresh all components that were permanently changed during the original campaign while allowing the wooden tokens and metal coins to be reused. And the game board is double-sided, so you’ll just flip your board over and play on the back side.”
