Expanding the Tribes
Days of Wonder will debut the latest Five Tribes mini-expansion, Five Tribes: The Thieves of Naqala, at Gen Con in August. It will contain six thief cards and one new djinn.
A teaser for the next in the Pandemic series, Pandemic: Iberia, is now online. The game takes place on the Iberian Peninsula in 1849 and players will “take on the roles of Nurse, Railwayman, Rural Doctor, Sailor, and more to find the cures to malaria, typhus, the yellow fever, and cholera.” It will hit shelves this Fall.
Upper Deck provided a few details for the upcoming Legendary Encounters: A Firefly Deck Building Game. The core set will allow players to become the “crew of the spaceship Serenity. They must work together to complete a series of episodes, acquiring ship upgrades over the course of the game and avoiding strikes that can damage the ship.”
SeaFall Sets Sail
Pre-orders for the highly anticipated Rob Daviau legacy game SeaFall are now being taken at Plaid Hat Games. Pick up will not be available at this year’s Gen Con, but pre-orders will come with over 100 upgraded metal coins.
Z-Man Games will release Beyond Baker Street this summer. Players will “gather evidence, follow the clues, and use your power of deduction to solve the case before the great Sherlock Holmes.”

Judges for Magic: The Gathering tournaments recently brought two lawsuits against Wizards of the Coast, alleging “that participating in the Magic community as a judge equates to employment with Wizards.” The company’s response is here .
