New from Portal
Two new releases from Portal Games are due at Essen Spiel. First, Robinson Crusoe, an “all new English edition featuring: custom wooden pieces, thick cardboard character cards, over 450 edits on the cards to improve clarity, a standard sized square box, a 7th scenario, and an all-new English rulebook.” Also, Death Breath is “an all new army for Neuroshima Hex 3.0 designed by Michał Oracz. The Death Breath is a terrifying virus which began spreading forth from the eastern enclaves of the Moloch. It infects every living thing, changing them into brainless, bloodthirsty beasts.”

Arkham Horror: The Card Game
Fantasy Flight Games previews Arkham Horror: The Card Game, which “allows you to “level up” your deck over the course of a campaign. When you consult the campaign log after an adventure to learn what’s going to happen as the result of your investigations, you’ll also learn how much experience you and your fellow investigators earn for your efforts. You can then use this experience to access cards at levels greater than zero, swapping them into your deck for other cards.”
