Gloomhaven Expansion
The first Gloomhaven expansion, Forgotten Circles, has been announced by Cephalofair Games, according to Dice Tower News. It will be available this October at retailers and “will contain 20 new scenarios that take place after the main story of Gloomhaven. Forgotten Circles will also include 7 new monster types with 3 bosses, 14 new items, and a new character class, the Aesther Diviner.”

Welcome To …
Deep Water Games announced the English-language release of Welcome To …, a game in which “players take on the role of 1950’s American architects, building and planning suburban neighborhoods.” The roll-and-write game uses cards instead of dice and pre-orders will begin on April 18th.

Race and Roll for the Galaxy News
At the 2018 Game Developers Conference, designer Tom Lehmann talked about Race for the Galaxy and revealed that the second edition was at the printers. According to W. Eric Martin’s BGG blog, Lehmann also talked about new expansions for Race for the Galaxy as well as Roll for the Galaxy. Race for the Galaxy: Xeno Counter Strike is due in 2019 while Roll for the Galaxy: Rivalry will be out in quarter two of this year. There’s also a third quarter release date for New Frontiers, which is subtitled “The Race for the Galaxy board game.”

Altiplano in North America
Altiplano will be released May 2nd, according to the Renegade Game Studios website. The game is about “The inhabitants of the Altiplano, the high plateau between the Easter and Western Andes, need to be creative to develop the scant vegetation and the available resources.

Magic Maze Expansion
According to the ACD Distribution blog, the first expansion to Magic Maze, Maximum Security!, will hit retail shelves on April 18th. “After countless robberies, the tenants of the Magic Maze have finally had enough. They’ve come together, formed a Merchant’s Association, and made their demands crystal clear to the Maze’s management: increase security in the Maze or the shops will move away!”
