Magic’s Silver Anniversary
Magic: The Gathering turns 25 this year! To recognize the milestone, the game will release brand new sets as well as reintroducing popular elements from its history – including silver bordered cards! Official events will kick off at Hasbro’s exclusive Hascon in September.

Explosive expansion
The Fifth Ingredient expansion to Potion Explosion will release tomorrow from Cool Mini or Not. The new add on includes a new ingredient, more potions, a new mechanic in the Ghastly Cauldron and reward and scolding tokens. Class is about to start!

Mayfair Games’ Iron Dragon hits the streets, er, the tracks, again June 30.  The crayon rails design tasks dwarves, elves, humans and trolls with re-building the land of Darwinina by establishing a steam kingdom.  Plus, iron dragons!

If you thought mountain climbing was perilous enough, you might want to stay away from Dicey Peaks!  Calliope Games will release the game this August.  Choose your dice well, manage your oxygen and beware the Yeti. They may not be dragons, but they can still be mean.

Big dog gets its crate
Toys and games giant Hasbro is entering the subscription service.  For $49.99/month, you can now subscribe to the Game Crate. Specifying whether you’d like a family crate or party crate (some more for adults), the massive publisher will ship you three games.  One is featured, while the other two are mystery titles and all three are exclusive to the package.
