Spiel Des Jahres Nominations Announced
The nominations for the 2016 Spiel Des Jahres, Kinderspiel Des Jahres, and Kennerspiel Des Jahres have been announced.

Mobile Castles
The Castles of Mad King Ludwig app is now available for mobiles devices. Designer Ted Alspach talks about the development of the app here.

Out-of-Print Finca Returns
Crash Games has acquired the licensing rights to reprint Finca.

Fair Is Open
Renegade Game Studios’ has released World’s Fair 1893, in which “players work diligently to increase their influence throughout the fair and obtain the grand exhibits that will be put on display.”

Loaded
Ninja Division is bringing the League of Ancient Defenders (LOAD) to North America next year. The miniatures game is a “2-6 player skirmish-level board game which pits two teams against each other as the forces of Chaos versus the island kingdom of Atlantis.”

Madness
Due out in August at Gen Con, Tides of Madness is a “2-player drafting card game based on the award winning Tides of Time.” It uses` the Tides of Time drafting and set collection mechanisms and is a stand-alone game.

PSI and Gigamic Deal
Publisher Services, Inc. (PSI) will be the “exclusive sales and operations team responsible for sales and shipping of Gigamic Games products in the U.S. market.” It will begin releasing Gigamic games in July, including Quarto, Quoridor, Color Pop, and Katamino.

Dominion Online
Dominion will be back online in January, but now there will be two versions: Dominion Offline and Dominion Online. The offline version allows you to buy expansions and play random boards or campaigns against the AI. The online version requires a monthly subscription and allows you to play against other players or the AI.

Android Universe
Designer and developer Lukas Litzsinger discusses Android: Netrunner and how “its themes add to your cat-and-mouse cyberstruggles between Corp and Runner.”
